Here are some photos taken at Bondi Beach on 8th August 2004. About 60,000 people made it from the City to Bondi Beach. It was indeed a "fun run" with lots of costumes, and many runners taking digital photos or making phone calls as they jogged along.

At the front, there were about 1000 serious runners. The first two places went to the Tanzanians Patrick Nyangelo and Dickson Marwa with Steve Moneghetti 3rd.

The first woman home was Haley McGregor. A few stragglers took over four hours to complete the course.
