Pictures on this web site have natural colours. The colours have not been enhanced to make the sculptures look more arty.

Furthermore, pictures on this web site include real people interacting with and enjoying the sculptures. Most other sites presenting pictures of these sculptures rarely show people, because it is widely believed that members of the peasant underclasses cannot appreciate artistic creations such as these sculptures. The presence of the lower orders in a photograph detracts from the works of art.

The comments above are dedicated to John Fardell, his comic strip "The Critics", the uproarious English magazine "Viz" and the British word "chav" which has no exact equivalent in Australia.

Here is the official home page of Sculpture by the Sea and it has greatly improved since the unusable disasters of a few years ago. Here is some Drone Footage from 2016, looking down on the exhibition. However the official web site is a good example of enhancing the colours to demonstrate that the colours provided by mother nature herself are somehow inferior.

For the walk, take a basic "survival pack" of a drink, a snack and some nuts or chocolate. Otherwise the prices for take away coffee and light meals in Marks Park will make your eyes water.

Please give a gold coin donation when you visit, as they do not have as much money as you might think. A couple of years ago it was more harrowing than usual - sculptures were washed away by rising tides and huge waves at Tamarama Beach. The organisers chose to ignore worldwide warnings of the rising sea levels and the more frequent and more destructive storms caused by climate change.
