A service station on Campbell Parade

A blast from the past! This picture was taken by Dennis Kreish in 1969 while serving in the US Army, and in Sydney on R & R from Vietnam. It's taken from the window of a motel behind a Shell garage on Campbell Parade and facing towards the Pavilion. Both the motel and the Shell garage are long gone. Notice the green double decker bus in the middle.
