The front runners with new Android models are Samsung, SonyEricsson and the Chinese company HTC. Motorola and LG are not doing so well. The total sample size was 23430 visits by humans. The Google measurement is lower, and Bing has surged past Yahoo for the first time for many years. Across the continents, Bing has risen to 10% in USA/Canada against 6% for Yahoo. Bing passing Yahoo appears to be a worldwide trend, with good results for Bing in Australia at 4% and the UK at 6%. Bing and Yahoo both remain unpopular in Europe with Google on 94%. The sample size above was 15812 searches. =============================== ================================ Trivia corner ============= Further to the news about the death of Koko, the smoking gorilla, the search for his pictures has subsided to about 70% of the peak, with only 14 searches in the last week. Meanwhile the search for fat girls smoking, thin girls smoking, pregnant girls smoking and ugly girls smoking continues unabated. On a brighter note, Sculpture by the Sea has commenced and many people are searching for this topic, despite the bad weather. Quite a few people want to know the distance from Bondi to Tamarama, whilst one searcher even asked about the coastal walk from Cronulla to Bondi. ==================== ================= =======================
