Pages per Visit is currently 0.99 for desktops and 0.60 for mobiles. Basically, people with tablets and phones are looking at the pictures. People are not exploring web sites like they used to. Times have changed - IE remains under 20% and Firefox remains under 10%. I am working on splitting the above figures into two components, since Chrome and Safari are so dominant on tablets and smartphones. Search Engines Share ==================== Percentage breakup of visits coming via search engines for September 1st to 15th, 2013:- Google 89.6 (89.6, 89.1, 87.6, 87.3, 87.8, 88.6, 88.1) Bing 5.5 (5.5, 5.7, 6.5, 6.2, 6.5, 5.7, 6.6, 7.2, 7.4) Yahoo 3.2 (3.4, 3.5, 3.8, 4.4, 3.7, 3.4, 3.1, 3.4, 3.6) All others 1.7 (1.5, 1.7, 2.1, 2.1, 1.9, 2.2, 2.2, 2.5) The share for 'Bing + Yahoo' remains under 10%. The total number of searches in this sample was 17496, including 11580 of 15682 searches (74%) via Google where the search string was suppressed, allegedly for privacy reasons. The 74% figure above has risen sharply, up from 65% two weeks ago and 27% at the start of the year. =============================== ============================
