Latest Stats as at 21/8/2013 ============================= These figures cover the 15 day period 1/8/2013 to 15/8/2013. This 15 day period includes 4 weekend days and 11 weekdays, giving a slight bias expected towards tablets and mobiles. This endless quest for innovation is exhausting - all the journos and their fanboys expect a new product range from every manufacturer every year. Excluded from the results below are two huge traffic surges: (1) A chap from an English football forum going by the handle SmokingHorse decided to use a picture of a smoking horse leeched from the Non Smokers' website as his avatar. I replaced the picture with a rather stunning red and black swastika. He has now gone, but if he returns I have some beaut scans of Aussie cigarette packets ready. (2) A chap named Flashman posted a link to my Sydney Tram Remnants page onto the Reddit website. This resulted in about 880 visits in 14 hours, each visit consisting of the page and 31 pictures. I was quite chuffed to read the appreciative comments on the Reddit Forums. Quite simply the reason is smartphones and tablets. Not much joy for Winphones. Android has eased a little and is back under 10%. Linux has jumped from 0.6% to 1.0% - I simply have not got the time this week to cross off all the Linux boxes pretending to be real visitors. Desktops/Laptops 59% and Mobiles/Tablets 41%. The total sample size above was 25014.
