Latest Stats as at 19/5/2011. ============================= These figures cover the 11-day period 1/5/2011 to 11/5/2011. ================================ ============================ Introduction ============ The crisis of being hacked on 19th April has passed. Things were back to normal. But it was not normal after all. The data supplied by Hostway, the hosting company, for the four days 12-13-14-15th of May did not load correctly, and these four days turned out to be a repeat of the data from 12-13-14-15th February 2011. This useless data was discarded, leaving an analysis covering only 11 days as presented below. The remainder seem to be people following links in newsletters, emails and forums, often looking at only a single picture. The internet has changed over the years. The days when every site had their pages of suggested links have gracefully passed. A recent magazine article comments how we have "out-sourced" all that remembering to Google. So, who was Bindi Paxton who once did a Playboy centrefold? I have pretty much stopped bookmarking interesting web sites, partly because the bookmarking function has become so tedious to use but mainly because Google does it better. Google knows all manner of strange things. Look at these searches that people have actually typed.
